What is a release at the end of two thirds?

According to the probation law, a prisoner may be released on probation if he had served two thirds of his sentence.

The primary conditions to this type of release are good behavior and not posing a threat to the general public.

The prisons' commissioner is authorized to release prisoners that have been sentenced to 3-6 months, while the IPS release board releases prisoners who have been sentenced to 6 months or more.
