The isolation of a prisoner and holding him in a dungeon is a means of punishment due to the commitment / suspicion of a commitment of a disciplinary offence that offends the order within the prison.
 
During the stay at the isolation section it is forbidden to bring into the cell any personal possessions, and additionally the prisoner is deprived of such privileges as cigarettes and watching television.

A prisoner may be kept in isolation for up to 7 days.
