Where do the prisoners eat? What is the meal menu?
In some of the prisons, the prisoners eat in the sections in which they reside. In the sections in the new prisons, the prisoners eat at the dining room.

A national food and economics committee forms the menu for the prisoners. There is supervision over the meals and the quality of the food, performed by the medicine department and by the IPS logistics department.

The prisoners may also enrich their diet by purchasing additional food items at the prison cantina, in accordance with the protocol.
