About the IPS Staff

The Israeli Prison Service recruits to its ranks the finest professionals, and ceaselessly operates in order to promote its staff.

The organization includes a large variety of professional roles, from the security guards, through the security officers, professional officers from therapeutic fields, unique fields, and until the high commanders that are that senior chain of command in the organization.

 

The staff work at the ISP is interesting, and in incorporates security and therapeutic activities.  The staff's sensitivity to the needs of the various prisoners populations (drug addicts, prisoners that require special protection, youth, women, sex offenders, prisoners with histories of family violence) contributes to the diminishment of violence and the discovery of appropriate human solutions.
