By the decision of the Political-Security Cabinet decided on September  30,2009 , 20 Palestinian Women sentenced and pre-trial prisoners will be released by October 2 2009,  in accordance with the proposal of the negotiation team dealing with the release of Gilad Shalit ,including humanitarian cases, and in order to receive a "sign of life" and as a step for building future trust.

The list of prisoners has been examined by legal and General Security Service authorities and the prisoners have been found suitable for release from the aspect of their danger to the public and the charges against them
